The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) has announced that it has issued a tender, pursuing bids from eligible bidders for the commissioning of a 170 kWp grid-connected rooftop solar power plant at the firms’ Una Terminal in Himachal Pradesh.
The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar system. The developer will also be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance services for the plant for a period of 5 years from the date of successful commissioning. The time allocated to the selected developers for the complete work on the project is 180 days.
The last date for bid submission is October 24, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on October 25, 2019. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 86 lakh and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 86 thousand along with their bids. However, an exemption from payment of EMD will be allowed for a few selected Micro and Small agencies/ parties.
The work on the project has been divided into two parts: A and B. Part A will include the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the proposed rooftop solar system along with accessories complete as per specifications and tender document including 1-year comprehensive maintenance.
Part B will comprise the operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of 4 years from the date of completion of the work mentioned in Part A.
