Indian Oil Issues Tenders for 600 kW Rooftop Solar Projects in Gujarat

The Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has announced that it has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible companies/ developers for the commissioning of 600 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power projects at the firms’ Gujarat Refinery Township.
The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar projects in the refinery township. The scope of work will also include the operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of 5 years from the date of successful commissioning. The selected developers will have a period of 7 months from the date of site handover to complete the work on the project.
The last date for bid submission is December 2, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on December 3, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for November 25, 2019, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be intimated to the technically accepted bidders later.
As per the tender, all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 3.25 lakh along with their bids. However, EMD will not be required if the bidding firm is a Micro & Small Enterprises (MSE), a JV/ subsidiary company of IOCL, or a startup recognized by DIPP.
