Insolation Energy (INA Solar) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) to set up nine decentralised, ground-mounted solar power projects across various locations in Maharashtra.

Awarded under a competitive tariff-based bidding process as part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, the projects feature a combined power generation capacity of 99 MW AC (128.7 MW DC), the company stated in a regulatory filing.

The development phase will entail an estimated total investment of approximately INR 425 crore to build out the 128.7 MW DC infrastructure. The projects are projected to generate approximately 20.59 crore units (kWh) of electricity annually. Based on a finalised levelised tariff of INR 2.90/kWh across all nine sites, it will generate an estimated INR 59.72 crore in annual revenue, locking in a steady, sustainable cash flow under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with MSEDCL.

Operational execution will commence following formal agreement terms, with the entire 99 MW capacity scheduled for full commissioning within 18 months from the date of PPA execution.
