Implementation of National Programme on Market Development of Medium and High temperature CSTs

Under financial support of National Clean Energy Funds (NCEF) during the financial year 2013-14 to 2016-17, Ministry of Finance , Dept. of Expenditure approved National Programme on 'Market Development of Medium and High temperature concentrated solar technologies (CSTs) in industrial, institutional and commercial establishment for community cooking, process heat and cooling application' under off-grid solar thermal programme of Jawahar Lai Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM). Rs. 68 Crore has been earmarked under NCEF for implementation of the programme during 4 financial years i.e. 2013-14 to 2016-17 with Rs. 13.72 Crores allocated for 2013-14 towards subsidy for CSTs project on the pattern of the guidelines given in off grid solar thermal programme of JNNSM. Against this, Rs. 10.00 Crore is available as supplementary grant for implementation of the CST programme during 2013-14. For further details please refer to the attachment.
