Sustainable logistics startup ILine Logistics has secured USD 500K in pre-seed funding, a major step forward in its mission to revolutionise last-mile delivery with electric vehicles (EVs) across India’s underserved Tier-2 cities.

The funding round was led by WeFounder Circle and Schaeffler India, with additional participation from DevX Venture Fund, Indigram Labs Foundation, and a clutch of strategic angel investors. According to ILine, the capital infusion will be used to expand its EV fleet, enhance its tech infrastructure, and scale operations in key regional markets such as Indore, Bhopal, and Jaipur.

ILine provides green and cost-effective delivery solutions using electric 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers tailored for FMCG, e-commerce, and pharma clients. The startup is positioning itself as a clean logistics alternative to conventional fuel-based delivery services, targeting mid-sized urban centers where EV penetration and infrastructure are still evolving.

Prakarsh Dwivedi, Co-founder and CEO of ILine, said the funding will help the company strengthen its presence in Tier-2 hubs while contributing to India’s net-zero goals. “We’re building a logistics ecosystem that’s sustainable, tech-driven, and optimized for Bharat, not just metro cities,” he noted.

As India ramps up its decarbonisation efforts in the transport sector, startups like ILine are playing a crucial role in bridging the EV adoption gap outside major metros. The company's model aligns with state and central government pushes for electrified delivery fleets under the FAME-II and National Logistics Policy frameworks.

With rising demand for sustainable last-mile delivery, ILine's fresh capital will also support talent acquisition, battery swapping partnerships, and digital fleet management innovations, the company added.
