IB Solar’s Abhinav Mahajan Wins ‘Energy Leader of the Year’ Award at UP Energy Expo 2026
Abhinav Mahajan, Marketing Director of IB Solar, has received the ‘Energy Leader of the Year – Solar PV Modules’ award at UPEX 2026.

The award highlights IB Solar’s expanding presence in the solar manufacturing and clean energy industry, with a growing focus on innovation, sustainability, Solar PV Modules, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions.
Mahajan said the recognition reflects the company’s long-term commitment to advancing India’s energy transition through technology-driven manufacturing and integrated solar and energy storage solutions.
IB Solar, a division of Integrated Batteries established in 1992, manufactures solar PV modules, BESS, energy storage solutions, and turnkey solar projects. The company operates a 1.8 GW solar manufacturing facility in Noida and is expanding its capacity with a planned 5 GW fully automated solar module production line, along with a solar cell manufacturing division.
The company said the expansion will strengthen its backward and forward integration capabilities while supporting India’s push for self-reliance in renewable energy manufacturing and advanced energy storage infrastructure.
IB Solar has also expanded its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), BESS integration, and turnkey project offerings as demand for solar and hybrid energy solutions continues to rise across residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale segments.
The award ceremony took place during UPEX 2026, a platform that brings together stakeholders from the energy and renewable power sectors to discuss innovation, investment, energy storage, and sustainable development.
