Global solar and storage solutions provider Hoymiles has announced that its utility-scale solar solutions are powering a 2.2 MW solar project in Asifabad, Telangana, developed under the Indira Mahila Shakti Scheme.
The project is equipped with the company's HINV350HX-G2 string inverters, which are designed to deliver high efficiency and reliable performance for utility-scale solar installations. According to the company, the plant has been operating successfully and is contributing to the state's renewable energy targets while supporting initiatives aimed at empowering local communities.
The HINV350HX-G2 inverters feature six 75-amp maximum power point trackers (MPPTs) and are compatible with 182 mm and 210 mm photovoltaic modules, allowing greater flexibility in system design. The inverters offer maximum efficiency of 99.05 percent and EU efficiency of 98.8 percent, helping optimise energy output from the plant, the company stated.
It further added that the product is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and comes with IP66 protection, C5 anti-corrosion capability and a short-circuit ratio (SCR) of ≥1.1 to ensure stable and durable performance.
The Indira Mahila Shakti Scheme is focused on promoting socio-economic development and creating livelihood opportunities, particularly for women, through various development initiatives. The solar project forms part of these broader efforts by combining clean energy generation with community-centric development.
