Hoymiles Promotes Monika Shekhar to DGM – Marketing

Hoymiles has promoted Monika Shekhar to Deputy General Manager – Marketing for its India operations, expanding her responsibilities as the company strengthens its presence in the country’s solar and energy storage market.

Shekhar has been associated with Hoymiles since December 2024. She previously served as Assistant General Manager – Marketing and has taken up the new role effective October 2026.

In her marketing leadership role, Shekhar has been involved in Hoymiles’ efforts to build its brand and strengthen engagement with partners and the market in India. Her responsibilities have included marketing strategy, brand building and partner communication, with a focus on positioning Hoymiles as a one-stop solar and storage solutions provider in India.

Before joining Hoymiles, Shekhar worked with GoodWe Technologies for more than three years. She served as Marketing Manager from July 2021 to November 2024 and had earlier worked with the company as Senior Marketing Specialist – India. She also served as Marketing Communications Manager at Dharma Life, an NGO, from July 2020 to July 2021.

The elevation comes as Hoymiles expands its product portfolio in India's solar and energy storage market. The company has expanded beyond microinverters to include hybrid inverters, string inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and power conversion systems (PCS) for residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale applications.

Hoymiles is also strengthening its distribution and service network in India through regional partnerships and local market engagement.
