Hindustan Power has signed a Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) to supply 130 MW of power from its Annupur plant in Madhya Pradesh.

The agreement, executed through the company’s subsidiary MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Ltd., comes under the Design, Build, Finance, Own and Operate (DBFOO) model.

The PSA follows the Letter of Award issued by APDCL earlier this year and represents a significant step in meeting Assam’s growing electricity demand. Hindustan Power began supplying power to the state in October 2025, ensuring consistent support for both industrial and household consumption.

Ratul Puri, Chairman of Hindustan Power, said tthat he partnership underscores the company’s commitment to supporting state utilities with reliable and efficient power. “We are glad to contribute to Assam’s power needs and its broader development priorities,” he said.

With the commencement of supply to Assam, Hindustan Power reinforces its role in strengthening regional energy security and contributing to India’s broader transition toward a more resilient and sustainable power ecosystem.

Hindustan Power is an integrated power generation company with a focus on renewable and transitional energy.
