Hero Future, Rays Power, Resolven, Hexa, Juniper Among Winners in SECI’s 1 GW FDRE Auction

SECI's 1,000 MW FDRE-RTC power auction has discovered an L1 tariff of INR 5.25/kWh, with EMIF II, Hero Future Energies, Purvah Green Power, Resolven, Rays Power Infra, Hexa Climate and Juniper Green Energy emerging as winners for supplying power from ISTS-connected renewable energy projects integrated with energy storage systems.

Solar Energy Corporation of India’s auction to procure 1,000 MW FDRE-RTC Power from ISTS-connected RE projects in India (SECI-FDRE-RTC-V) has discovered an L1 (lowest bid) tariff of INR 5.25/kWh.
 
EMIF II (managed by AP Moller Capital), Hero Future Energies, Purvah Green Power (RPSG Group), Resolven, Rays Power Infra, Hexa Climate and Juniper Green Energy have emerged as winners.
 
Kengeri Prime Solar Power (Rays Power Infra), Resolven Four Energy (Resolven), Hero Solar Energy (Hero Future Energies), EMIF II Holding V II Coöperatief W.A (EMIF Group), and Purvah Green Power (RPSG Group) have secured 180 MW, 150 MW, 120 MW, 100 MW and 70 MW each, respectively, at a tariff of INR 5.25/kWh.
 
Hexa Climate has won 150 MW at a tariff of INR 5.26/kWh. Juniper Green Energy has secured 230 MW, out of quoted 300 MW, at a tariff of INR 5.26/kWh, under the bucket-filling method.
 
The tender was floated in March 2026.
 
The RE Power Developer (RPD) shall be required to set up ISTS-connected RE power project(s) with an energy storage system (ESS), including the transmission network up to the interconnection/delivery point(s), with the primary objective of supplying RE power to SECI. Land and connectivity shall be in the scope of the RE Power Developer.
 
Under this Agreement, procurement of Contracted Capacity shall be in power (MW) terms. The RPD must supply RE power in a round-the-clock manner by maintaining the following Demand Fulfilment Ratios (DFR): (i) a minimum DFR of 90 percent in each time-block during the Peak Hours; (ii) a minimum DFR of 50 percent and a maximum DFR of 60 percent in each time-block during the Solar Hours; (iii) a minimum DFR of 70 percent in each time-block during the Remaining Hours, i.e. Non-Solar Hours other than Peak Hours.
