Hero Future Energies wins multiple bids

Selected as highest successful bidder & allotted 38 MW under M.P.Solar bid

Hero Future Energies (HFE) has announced that it has won solar PV projects of 38 megawatts (MW) under Madhya Pradesh state policy. Madhya Pradesh floated a 300 megawatts (MW) solar power bid this year. HFE was selected as the highest successful bidder in the results announced on 16th July,2015 and has been allotted 38 MW. The difference in the tariff quoted by HFE in this bid and the lowest tariff is approximately INR 0.59.

Rahul Munjal, Managing Director, Hero Future Energies in a release said, “Winning this bid shows our commitment in the solar sector. I am happy to announce that HFE has landed the highest winning bid in M.P. Along with this, it gives me immense pleasure to share HFE’s win of rooftop solar projects across multiple states namely Haryana, Punjab, Tamilnadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka under SECI rooftop solar scheme. This win will take us closer to our target of becoming one of the leading rooftop players in the country.”

Sunil Jain, CEO, Hero Future Energies while announcing the win said, “We continue to show our deep understanding of solar bidding to constantly win projects at viable VGFs and tariffs. We will continue to participate in all future bids including NSM.”
