Hero Future Energies Signs MoU with VNEB to Deploy Rooftop Solar and BESS in Vietnam
Hero Future Energies has signed an MoU with Viet Nam Electricity Business Joint Stock Company to deploy rooftop solar and battery energy storage systems across industrial parks in Vietnam.

The partnership aims to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable power solutions for Vietnam’s rapidly expanding industrial sector, combining HFE’s international expertise with VNEB’s local market knowledge, the company stated
HFE stated that this initiative strengthens its global renewable footprint while supporting Vietnam’s clean energy ambitions, reflecting its broader mission to drive the global energy transition. “By combining international expertise with local partnerships, HFE aims to play a meaningful role in decarbonising industrial energy consumption, not only in Vietnam, but as part of its broader mission to drive the global energy transition,” it said.
In November 2025, Hero Future Energies (HFE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government to invest INR 30,000 crore in developing large-scale renewable energy projects.
As per the company’s Annual Report for FY25, the company has an operational capacity of 2 GWp and total capacity of 6.5 GWp and a storage capacity of 2 GWh. It has a portfolio of about 700 MWp in the C&I segment across five states.
