Hero Future Energies (HFE) has announced that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HPUDC and Horus Power to jointly develop rooftop solar projects across factories located in industrial parks developed by Hoa Phat Group in Vietnam.
The partnership aims to accelerate clean energy adoption in Vietnam’s industrial sector by deploying rooftop solar systems across manufacturing facilities within Hoa Phat Group’s industrial parks. The initiative is expected to help industries reduce electricity costs, improve sustainability performance, and contribute to the country’s broader energy transition goals, the company stated.
Through the collaboration, the partners will leverage international expertise alongside local capabilities to scale rooftop solar deployment in key industrial clusters. “By combining international expertise with local partnerships, HFE aims to play a meaningful role in decarbonising industrial energy consumption, not only in Vietnam, but also as part of its broader mission to drive the global energy transition,” the company stated.
Last week, Hero Future Energies signed an MoU with Viet Nam Electricity Business Joint Stock Company to deploy rooftop solar and battery energy storage systems across industrial parks in Vietnam.
In November 2025, Hero Future Energies (HFE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government to invest INR 30,000 crore in developing large-scale renewable energy projects.
As per the company’s Annual Report for FY25, the company has an operational capacity of 2 GWp and total capacity of 6.5 GWp and a storage capacity of 2 GWh. It has a portfolio of about 700 MWp in the C&I segment across five states.
