Hero Future Energies secures INR 10,240 Million Funding from SBI for 60 MW RE Hybrid Project

Hero Future Energies has raised INR 10,240 million from SBI to develop a 60 MW renewable hybrid project in Andhra Pradesh, integrating solar, wind, and storage under a SECI contract.

Hero Future Energies (HFE) through its SPV Clean Solar Power, Barmer, has secured funding worth INR 10,240 Million from State Bank of India (SBI).

The funds will be utilised for the development and construction of HFE’s 60 MW Hybrid Peak Power Project. The project which combines solar, wind and storage, and is contracted with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), is being built in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.

This funding, which will have repayment spread over a period of 21 years, will help in timely completion of the said peak power project.
A company statement said that this reflects the lending community’s strong confidence in HFE’s expertise in development of Renewable Energy (RE) hybrid projects.
