Hero Future Energies Partners with Sumitomo for Wind-Solar Project in Karnataka
Hero Future Energies and Sumitomo announces a partnership for a wind-solar and battery storage project in Bidar, Karnataka, with HFE holding a 51 percent stake.

Hero Future Energies (HFE), the renewable energy arm of the Hero Group, has announced a partnership with Sumitomo Corporation, an integrated trading and business investment company in Japan. Sumitomo Corporation will acquire a 49 percent stake in the special purpose vehicle developing a project of an approximately 500 MWp wind and solar power plant with a large-scale battery energy storage at Bidar, Karnataka. HFE will retain the remaining 51 percent.
