Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has recently issued a Letter of Intent to NHPC Limited. The letter outlines plans for a 200 MW capacity Solar Power Project within the premises of GSECL’s RE Park at Khavda, specifically designated as GSECL Stage-3.
The project, with an estimated financial implication of approximately INR 846.66 crore, signals a concerted effort towards harnessing solar energy in Gujarat.
"Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has issued a Letter of Intent dated March 14, 2024, to NHPC Limited for a 200 MW capacity solar power project within 1125 MW GSECL’s RE Park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-3). The estimated financial implication for the said Solar Power Project would be INR 846.66 crore (approx.)," NHPC said.
With sustainability and clean energy at the forefront, this collaboration between GUVNL and NHPC Limited aims to contribute significantly to the state's renewable energy targets.
