Gujarat Government Inks MoU with Ocior Energy to Outlay INR 40,000 Crores in Green Hydrogen and Ammonia
Abu Dhabi-headquartered energy firm Ocior Energy promising an encouraging Rs 40,000 crore outlay in Gujarat with green-hydrogen and green ammonia projects all through other renewable energy prospects in the State.

Abu Dhabi-headquartered energy firm Ocior Energy promising an encouraging Rs 40,000 crore outlay in Gujarat with green-hydrogen and green ammonia projects all through other renewable energy prospects in the State.
The company inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat Government in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel along with Ocior’s CEO Ranjit Gupta.
As per the Gujarat Government’s evaluation, the firm is anticipated to obtain the production by the coming decade end 2030 and will evolve its projects in two phases.
Ocior Energy officials discussed that moving further, their subsequent projects will also aid Gujarat export green ammonia and that the renewable energy projects would produce above 10,400 around direct and indirect employment opportunities. Once the projects are functioned, they will generate around 1 million tonnes of green ammonia annually.
Ocior is headquartered in Abu Dhabi Global Market free zone (ADGM) and the firm deals specially in green hydrogen and green ammonia. It has the intent to evolve green hydrogen and green ammonia projects having a potential of 4 GW in India, Central East, North Africa and MENA regions.
Ocior is basically work on the basis of build, own and operate (BOO) Green Hydrogen and Ammonia provisions comprising the renewable energy provisions required to produce these green fuels.
