Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL) has announced a tender inviting bids for the preparation of a detailed feasibility report (DFR) and detailed project report (DPR) for a 500 MW solar park in Gujarat.
The tender sets a deadline for submitting bids on December 26, 2023, with bid opening scheduled for December 30. GSECL's proposal focuses on the development of a 500 MW solar park situated at the Great Rann of Harsad in Banaskantha.
To participate in the tender, bidders are required to submit an INR 5,900 tender fee and an INR 59,160 earnest money deposit (EMD). The allocated land for the solar park is spread across 5 to 6 land pockets within a 15 to 20 km range.
Applicants are expected to possess prior experience in conducting feasibility studies, preparing reports, and creating DPRs for solar parks or ground-mounted solar photovoltaic grid-connected projects. The cumulative experience should demonstrate a minimum capacity of 100 MW, with individual projects of at least 10 MW.
Financial eligibility criteria include a cumulative turnover of at least INR 48.9 lakhs over the last three financial years and a positive net worth during the last financial year.
The 500 MW solar park is poised to contribute significantly to Gujarat's renewable energy goals and enhance the state's position as a leader in the clean energy sector.
