Growatt Becomes Largest Supplier of Residential PV Inverters in Brazil

Solar inverter manufacturer Growatt has become the leading brand of inverters for the delivery of residential photovoltaic (PV) inverters in Brazil, according to the latest distributed generation PV market report released by Greener, a Brazilian research and consulting company.

Despite the pandemic, Growatt peaked in the second half of 2020, said the report.

“We would like to thank all of our partners for their contribution to this success story in Brazil,” said Lisa Zhang, Marketing Director at Growatt. Zhang also attributed this success to the significant increase in investment in the company made in Brazil in recent years. 

“We are committed to the development of solar energy in Brazil and have therefore set up a technical assistance center in São Paulo and a call center in Maringá. Additionally, we have built a much stronger local team to provide exceptional customer service. “

In 2019, the company partnered with Aldo Solar, the world’s largest PV distributor, to promote its advanced PV solutions to Brazilians. Thanks to its extensive distribution and service network, Growatt has experienced exponential growth in the decentralized generation sector in Brazil, the company said.

Growatt has added to its product line the MAC inverter 15-36KTL3-XL, designed for three-phase 220V solar photovoltaic application in Brazil. According to Zhang, the company will also launch a new generation of single phase inverter 7-10KTL MIN-X nationwide later this year “we will continue to provide products and high quality services to Brazilians and, with such a comprehensive range of photovoltaic inverter solutions, we aim to become the leading inverter brand for decentralized solar power generation in Brazil.”
