Gridcrest Technologies Emerges L1 for INR 3,240.78 Crore KSEB Smart Metering Project

Gridcrest Technologies has emerged as the lowest bidder for KSEB’s INR 3,240.78 crore smart metering project, with the contract covering AMI system integration, operation and maintenance.

Gridcrest Technologies Pvt Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the Kerala State Electricity Board’s (KSEB) Smart Meter System Integration, Operation and Maintenance Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project, quoting INR 3,240.78 crore.

The project has a 96 month completion and implementation period.The tender covers system integration, operation and maintenance of smart metering infrastructure under KSEB’s AMI programme in Kerala.

Infinite Computer Solutions (India) Ltd emerged as the second lowest bidder with a quote of INR 3,460.57 crore, which was 6.78 percent higher than Gridcrest Technologies’ bid. KIMBAL Pvt. Ltd. was the third lowest bidder at INR 3,642.68 crore, or 12.40 percent above the L1 bid.

Linkwell Telesystems Pvt Ltd. quoted INR 3,830.95 crore, while Allied Engineering Works Ltd. submitted a bid of INR 4,217.95 crore. Their bids were 18.21 percent and 30.15 percent higher, respectively, than Gridcrest Technologies’ offer.

Other bidders included HPL Electric & Power Ltd. at INR 4,593 crore, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd. at INR 4,984.81 crore, NCC Ltd. at INR 5,406.68 crore, Secure Meters Ltd. at INR 7,195.24 crore and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. at INR 9,281.75 crore.

Adani Energy Solutions’ bid was 186.40 percent higher than Gridcrest Technologies’ offer. Easysoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was marked as rejected in the tender results.

With the lowest qualifying bid, Gridcrest Technologies has emerged as L1 for the INR 3,240.78 crore KSEB smart metering project.
