GREW Solar has partnered with Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-based ASK Engineering Solutions to strengthen its distribution network in western India and expand access to its solar modules, including Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-compliant products.
The partnership is expected to improve the availability of GREW Solar modules across Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and surrounding markets. It will leverage ASK Engineering Solutions' local market understanding and established relationships with installers and project developers to support customer engagement and regional distribution.
Hiten Parekh, Chief Business Officer, GREW Solar, said that the association would help the company deepen its presence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and neighbouring markets. He added that a stronger channel network would be important to serving customers as solar adoption increases across commercial, industrial and other segments.
The partnership is part of GREW Solar's broader strategy to expand its channel ecosystem across key markets and strengthen access to domestically manufactured solar modules.
A venture of the Chiripal Group, GREW Solar has deployed more than 3 GW of solar modules across India. It currently operates a 6.5 GW module manufacturing facility in Dudu, Rajasthan, producing N-type TOPCon G12R modules for utility-scale and other applications.
The company plans to increase its module manufacturing capacity to 11 GW. It is also setting up an 8 GW solar PV cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, with ALMM-II approval received for 2.4 GW. The company further plans to establish 8 GW of ingot and wafer manufacturing capacity as part of its efforts to build an integrated solar manufacturing value chain.
