GP Eco Solutions India Secures INR 121.92 Cr EPC Contract for 24 MWac Solar Plant in Punjab
Noida-based GP Eco Solutions India has secured an INR 121.92 crore EPC contract from Welkin Renewable India to develop a 24 MWac/31.67 MWdc ground-mounted solar power plant in Punjab under the Open Access Captive Metering Arrangement.

Noida-based GP Eco Solutions India has received an EPC contract worth INR 121.92 crore for the development of a ground-mounted grid-connected solar power plant with a cumulative capacity of 24 MWac/31.67 MWdc, to be located in Punjab, from Welkin Renewable India.
The project will be executed under the Open Access Captive Metering Arrangement and is scheduled to be fully commissioned on or before March 31, 2026, the company stated in a regulatory filing.
Under the terms of the contract, GP Eco Solutions India will be responsible for providing comprehensive EPC services, including engineering, design, procurement, supply, installation, erection, testing, commissioning, and final handover of the project.
In May 2025, the company received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Synergy Wave System for execution of EPC work worth INR 65.52 crore for design, survey, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of grid-connected solar power plants with a cumulative capacity of 12.6 MW under the KUSUM Scheme – Component C (Feeder Level Solarization) in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh.
In April 2025, a consortium led by GP Eco Solutions India secured a 10 MWp(AC)/12 MWp solar PV Plant at Pradip Port Authority amounting to INR 50.52 crore from Braithwaite & CO. Ltd.
In March 2025, the company secured a Letter of Award from UPNEDA for two grid-connected solar projects totalling 5.3 MWac worth INR 30 crore and an EPC contract for a 128 MWp ground-mounted solar project worth INR 300 crore.
In February 2025, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the New and Renewable Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The MoU outlined an INR 1,000 crore investment by the end of FY-2028 to develop solar power infrastructure in the state. The company intends to set up a 5 GW solar panel manufacturing and a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing line.
