GoodWe has supplied inverters for a 19 MW group captive solar power project developed by Micro Engineering Industries (MEI) LLP, strengthening its footprint in India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy segment.
Structured under the group captive model, the project enables multiple industries, including textile, packaging, casting, and mills, to access cost-efficient and sustainable power.
Commissioned in 2025, the plant has shown strong performance, achieving a peak generation of 9.2 units/kW and operating at a Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 24 percent, reflecting efficient system design suited to western India’s climate.
In January 2026, the project generated over 3.25 million kWh of clean energy, delivering estimated monthly savings of around INR 1.85 crore for participating industries while aligning output with industrial demand patterns.
The installation is equipped with 75 units of GoodWe 250 kW HT inverters, designed for high-load C&I applications. These inverters offer high efficiency, grid stability, and features such as multiple MPPT configurations, reactive power compensation, bifacial compatibility, and advanced monitoring systems.
Since 2019, MEI Solar and GoodWe have jointly delivered over 100 MW of solar installations across Gujarat, reinforcing a long-term technology partnership.
This project further highlights GoodWe’s growing role in India’s C&I renewable energy market, supporting industrial decarbonisation while enabling tangible cost savings.
