PV inverter manufacturer and smart energy solution provider GoodWe has recently completed a decade of operations in India, achieving a milestone of 6 GW of cumulative inverter shipments.

Since entering the Indian market in early 2016, GoodWe has steadily strengthened its footprint across the residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale segments, building a diversified project portfolio.

The company collaborate with prominent organisations including Tata Power, Amplus Solar, Enerparc, ORB Energy, KOSOL Energie, and Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, alongside other Tier-1 installers across the country, the company stated.

Commenting on the milestone, James Hou, Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific Region at GoodWe, said, “India is one of the most important regions for GoodWe globally. Over the years, our goal has always been to help customers reduce risk, improve project returns, and build systems that perform well over the long term. We have continued to invest in R&D, strengthen our channel ecosystem, expand technical and service support, and work closely with EPCs and developers.”

GoodWe’s installations span diverse geographies across India – from northern regions to arid western landscapes and coastal belts – demonstrating its ability to operate in varied climatic conditions. From powering individual homes under schemes such as PM Surya Ghar initiatives, with over 150,000 residential units deployed, to delivering solutions for leading C&I and utility players, GoodWe’s footprint continues to expand in the country, the company said.

The company’s service infrastructure includes a network of 20 service engineers, a Solar Service Centre in Bengaluru, and service warehouses in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Gurugram to ensure responsive technical support and operational reliability, asserted the company.

The company has also expanded its solutions portfolio to address India’s evolving energy requirements. Under its CoreLock concept, GoodWe has introduced residential energy storage solutions designed to deliver enhanced system safety, rapid backup response, and long-term reliability. The portfolio includes the ES Uniq (3–12 kW) paired with Lynx A G3 batteries, offering hybrid performance with less than 4 ms backup switching and scalable capacity of up to 150 kWh. For higher energy demand, the three-phase ET LV Series (5–20 kW) combined with the BAT 14 battery supports system capacities of up to 430 kWh.

For the C&I segment, the company is also offering the GT 150 kW inverter, designed to operate in demanding environments. The solution supports high string current and flexible PV oversizing, and features multiple MPPTs, high conversion efficiency, and integrated safety monitoring to optimise energy yield and ensure dependable long-term operation.

“Following a customer-centric approach, product innovation highlights the breadth we have built over the past decade in this market. Looking ahead, we remain focused on delivering solutions that address India’s evolving energy needs, working hand in hand with our teams and partners,” added Hou.
