At the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026, GoodWe announced the launch of its ESA 125 kW/251 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), expanding its portfolio of energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications.

The ESA Series is suited to a wide range of use cases, including factories, commercial complexes and other grid-connected or off-grid applications. It integrates the Power Conversion System (PCS), battery cells, Energy Management System (EMS) and Battery Management System (BMS) in a single cabinet, which simplifies installation, operation and maintenance while allowing flexible capacity expansion. The system scales from hundreds of kilowatt-hours to multi-megawatt-hours, supporting up to 15 units in parallel for a total capacity of up to 3.91 MWh in on-grid scenarios.

At the expo, GoodWe also presented a full range of energy storage technologies, from residential systems to large-scale utility projects.

In the utility-scale energy storage segment, the company showcased AC ESS 2MW/4MWh, which offers a one-stop integrated solution with in-house-developed battery, PCS, EMU and MVS components in a 20-foot containerised design that enables easier transportation and fast deployment. With 90.5 percent round-trip efficiency, a 7 percent increase in lifetime energy throughput and an AC/DC-separated architecture, it improves project returns while enhancing safety and simplifying maintenance, the company stated.

It further added that the UT Series complements this offering for large renewable energy projects and grid-connected installations.

GoodWe also showcased its residential hybrid energy storage portfolio, featuring the ES Uniq + Lynx A G3 and ET LV + Lynx A G4 solution. Designed to integrate solar power, battery storage, and intelligent energy management, these solutions highlighted the potential for greater energy independence, efficient solar utilisation, and reliable power supply for modern homes.

In the C&I segment, the company showcased the GT Series string inverter, which is designed to enhance productivity and deliver high power density in C&I applications. With 8/10 MPPTs, a high input current of 21A per DC string and a maximum efficiency of 99 percent, it increases overall yield with high-power PV modules. It also supports string-level monitoring and an optional PID (Potential Induced Degradation) recovery function for better module performance. Type II surge protection on both the AC and DC sides protects the inverter against lightning, giving C&I PV projects added safety, reliability and a stronger return on investment.

Aniket Sawant, Country Head, GoodWe India, said, “As GoodWe celebrates 10 years in India, we remain committed to driving the country’s clean energy transition through innovative and reliable solutions. The launch of our ESA 125 kW/261 kWh BESS at REI 2026 reflects our continued focus on delivering advanced energy storage solutions across residential, C&I and utility-scale segments.”
