According to the company, Knock-RE 2025, described as India’s largest renewable energy employment drive, has already created over 2,000 job opportunities, including more than 1,000 for fresh graduates.
The multi-city job fair, launched on June 1 in Surat, has since made stops in Jaipur, Noida, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bangalore, covering key urban centers to ensure broad demographic outreach. The next edition is scheduled for Rajkot on July 20, reinforcing the company’s strategy to reach talent across India.
Goldi Solar’s hiring push is part of a broader mission to build a workforce of over 10,000 people for its solar module and cell manufacturing units. The company is also making a strong social impact, about 70 percent of its current workforce comes from tribal communities. It further champions inclusivity by creating pathways for differently abled individuals and prioritising gender diversity.
“We are investing in our youth’s potential by offering hands-on experience in solar module and cell manufacturing,” said Capt. Ishver Dholakiya, Founder and Managing Director of Goldi Solar. “By nurturing young talent, we’re not only building a strong workforce but also contributing to India’s self-reliant future," he added.
Goldi Solar has partnered with skill development institutions to ensure that employment in the renewable sector is accessible to all. The initiative aligns with national goals under Atmanirbhar Bharat and taps into the surging demand for green jobs as India accelerates its clean energy transition.
Goldi Solar currently boasts a production capacity of 14.7 GW, with AI-powered manufacturing lines and ongoing plans for one of India’s largest solar cell expansions by FY26. The company exports globally and is aggressively scaling its backward integration to solidify its role in India’s renewable energy ecosystem.
