GK Energy to Procure 875 MW of DCR Solar PV Cells for Projects Across India
GK Energy has signed an agreement with a domestic manufacturer to procure 875 MW of DCR solar PV cells, comprising 450 MW of Mono PERC and 425 MW of TOPCon cells, to support its solar projects across India.

Maharashtra-based solar-powered agricultural water pump systems provider GK Energy has announced that the company has entered into a definitive agreement with a domestic manufacturer to procure 875 MW of DCR solar PV cells.
This includes 450 MW of Mono PERC solar cells and 425 MW of TOPCon solar cells, the company stated in a regulatory filing.
It further added that these supplies are scheduled for delivery by March 31, 2027.
The agreement covers supply, delivery timelines, and quality assurance parameters aligned with the Government of India’s Make-in-India and renewable-energy policies. The procurement will support GK Energy’s ongoing and upcoming solar projects across multiple states in India, the company stated.
The company specialises in EPC services for rooftop solar systems and solar water pumps, with significant participation in government initiatives such as the PM-KUSUM program.
In September 2025, GK Energy raised about INR 464 crore through an initial public offering (IPO). It comprised a fresh issue of INR 400 crore and an OFS component of about INR 64 crore.
As of August 2025, the company has orders worth about INR 1,028 crore on hand.
The company has shown an impressive financial trajectory over the past two fiscal years. Revenue from operations soared nearly 3.8 times from INR 285.03 crore in FY23 to INR 1,094.83 crore in FY25.
Operating EBITDA increased by 11.6 times, jumping from INR 17.18 crore in FY23 to INR 199.68 crore in FY25. Profit after tax (PAT) demonstrated an equally remarkable rise of 13.2 times, going from INR 10 crore in FY23 to INR 133.20 crore in FY25.
