GH2 India has announced that it has signed a Framework for Action with the Mission Possible Partnership (MPP) to collaborate under the Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA) programme and accelerate clean industrial projects in India towards Final Investment Decision (FID). The agreement was signed in the presence of Bhupinder Bhalla, Chair, Advisory Board, GH2 India.
The partnership aims to strengthen coordinated execution across the green hydrogen and clean industry ecosystem, focusing on converting project intent into bankable investments.
Commenting on the development, Nishaanth Balashanmugam, CEO and Director, GH2 India, said, “India's clean industrial transition needs coordinated execution to move projects from intent to investment. This Framework for Action with Mission Possible Partnership, through the Industrial Transition Accelerator, will focus on demand stimulation, project pipeline visibility, and practical contracting and standards support to help unlock barriers and accelerate projects towards FID.”
Under the collaboration, GH2 India and MPP will work on stimulating domestic and international demand for green hydrogen and its derivatives, improving project pipeline visibility, and activating key stakeholders to address implementation bottlenecks. The partnership will also provide technical and knowledge support on policy, standards, regulations, and bankable contracting structures, while strengthening government and industry engagement to align development roadmaps, the company stated.
Priority initiatives include India–EU engagement on certification and Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO) compliance, including participation at the World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition in Rotterdam in May 2026.
The collaboration will also focus on advancing offtake dialogues and green shipping corridors, supporting the expansion of SECI tenders for green ammonia and methanol, and leveraging ITA’s Clean Industrial Project Tracker to accelerate projects nearing FID, it said.
