Gentari, Juniper, EG Energy, Adyant Enersol and Sunsure Win SJVN’s 1200 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Auction
SJVN’s auction for 1,200 MW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid projects in India (Phase III) concluded with a tariff of INR 3.19/kWh, awarding capacities to Gentari Renewables, Juniper Green Energy, EG Energy Development (Enfinity Global), Adyant Enersol, and Sunsure Solarpark RJ One.

The tender for this was floated in July this year. It specified that bidders must offer at least 50 MW for ISTS-connected projects, with a minimum of 33 percent of the total contracted capacity derived from either wind or solar, and a maximum capacity of 400 MW.
Now, SJVN will enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement with these successful bidders to procure power, intended for sale to various entities within India. Acting as an intermediary procurer, SJVN will facilitate power procurement from hybrid power developers or generators and sell this power to buyers.
The projects will not receive separate central financial assistance.
