Gentari, Datta, Torrent, Opera, EDF, Resolven, Purvah Among Winners in SECI’s 2 GW Wind Auction
Gentari Renewables India, Datta Infra, Torrent Green Energy, Opera Energy, EDF Renewables, Ayana Renewable Power, Resolven, NLC India Renewables, Powerica, Refex Green Power, Atriwal Infrastructure and Purvah Green Power have emerged as winners in SECI's auction to develop 2,000 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects.

A total of 12 developers have emerged as winners, securing a total of 1,495 MW out of the available 2,000 MW.
Gentari Renewables India Castor One (Gentari India) has emerged as the L1 bidder and has won 200 MW at a tariff of INR 3.78/kWh.
Adyant Enersol (Datta Infra) (110 MW), Torrent Green Energy (150 MW), Opera Energy (50 MW), Halvad Renewables (EDF Renewables) (130 MW), Ayana Renewable Power (50 MW), Ganeko Four Energy (Resolven) (200 MW), NLC India Renewables (200 MW), Powerica (100 MW), Refex Green Power (80 MW), Atriwal Infrastructure (50 MW) and Purvah Green Power (175 MW) have secured capacities at a tariff of INR 3.85/kWh.
The tender was floated in April 2026. Initially, SECI issued the tender for 1,200 MW, which was later enhanced to 2,000 MW.
Identification of land, installation and ownership of the project, along with obtaining connectivity and necessary approvals and interconnection with the ISTS network/STU or InSTS network (as applicable) for supply of power to SECI, will be under the scope of the WPD.
Only type-certified wind turbine models listed in ALMM (Wind) will be allowed to be deployed. WPD must install and maintain a GPS-enabled Automatic Weather Station (AWS).
