Gensol Group Appoints Kanv Garg as President and Chief Growth Officer

He will work closely with the founders and entity-level CXOs, fostering synergies across existing and new areas, thus contributing significantly to the sustainable growth of the organization.

Gensol Group announced the appointment of Kanv Garg as its President and Chief Growth Officer. In this role, Kanv will spearhead key expansion initiatives and lead the development and implementation of overall medium to long-term strategic plans for the Group.

He will work closely with the founders and entity-level CXOs, fostering synergies across existing and new areas, thus contributing significantly to the sustainable growth of the organization.

A well-recognized professional with 18 years of experience in the clean energy and mobility sector, Kanv brings a wealth of experience to the Gensol Group. He has been a trusted advisor to various organizations, including national and sub-national Government entities, International Funding Institutions (IFIs), leading industrial conglomerates, global energy players, auto OEMs, non-profits, start-ups, and leading investment funds.

Prior to joining the Gensol Group, Kanv served as the Director of Corporate Strategy, New Mobility Business for the Petromin Corporation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Before that, he was the eMobility Energy Lead for EY Parthenon in the Middle East and also for EY in India. Kanv's career also includes impactful and market-creating stints in the solar sector with the World Bank Group, the Planning Commission of India, SunEdison, and Evalueserve.

With an experience at the dynamic cross-section of energy and mobility sectors, he has been instrumental in addressing contemporary challenges faced by CXOs related to strategy and implementation, program design, investments, and partnerships & collaboration.

Kanv is an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and holds Bachelor of Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
