GEI secures turnkey orders from power sector worth Rs. 104 crore

GEI Industrial Systems Ltd, one of the leading manufacturers of Cooled Vacuum Steam Condensers (ACSC) and Air Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE), today announced that it has secured turnkey orders worth Rs. 104 crore for Design, Manufacture, Pre-despatch Inspection, Testing and Supply of Distribution Transformer Sub Station and Service Lines, from three O&M circles in Madhya Pradesh.

 

The company secured contract worth Rs. 40 crore on turnkey basis from Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Co. Ltd. for Construction of New 11 KV Line, LT Line, 25 KVA 11/0.4 KV Distribution X-mer Sub-Station, and Service Lines for BPL consumers under O&M Circle Khandwa, under Rajiv Gandhi Gram Vidyutikaran Yojna (RGGVY) scheme. This contract is being executed for Rural Electricity Infrastructure and House Hold Electrification for the attainment of the National Common Minimum Programme Goal of providing access to electricity to all households.

 

The company has also been awarded two similar contracts totalling Rs. 64 crore for the O&M Circles of Mandsaur and Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, recently.

 

The scope of the all the contracts include detailed design, manufacture, testing, engineering, documentation and site services.
