Solar module manufacturer Gautam Solar has unveiled its 630Wp R-Series TOPCon Solar Modules, engineered for higher efficiency, durability, and energy yield. The new modules are ALMM and BIS approved, ensuring compliance for government projects and large-scale tenders.

Built on N-Type TOPCon technology, the R Series modules deliver up to 23.32 percent module efficiency with a maximum power output of 630 Wp. Designed with 182mm x 210 mm wafers, rectangular cells, half-cut technology, and multi-bus bar (MBB) technology, these modules significantly reduce resistive losses and maximise system performance, the company stated.

Commenting on the launch, Gautam Mohanka, Director, Gautam Solar, said, “Our new 630 Wp R Series TOPCon solar modules, with ALMM and BIS approvals, empower EPCs and developers with bankable, high-performance technology that complies with Indian tender requirements while reducing LCOE. This milestone reinforces Gautam Solar’s commitment to delivering world-class solutions that drive India’s clean energy future.”

The 630 Wp R Series TOPCon modules are designed to deliver high performance and long-term reliability. Each module offers a high power output of 630 Wp, helping optimise BOS costs and improve IRR, with efficiency reaching up to 23.32 percent, significantly higher than conventional PERC modules.

Featuring a bifacial design, the modules can deliver up to 30 percent additional gain under optimal conditions. Reliability is ensured through a first-year degradation of less than one percent and an annual degradation capped at 0.4 percent, with N-type cells minimising LID and LeTID losses.

With a temperature coefficient of -0.29 percent/°C, the modules are well-suited for hot Indian climates. They are durability-tested to withstand 5400 Pa snow load and 2400 Pa wind load, and carry ALMM listing from MNRE along with BIS certification (IS 14286/IS 61730), making them fully approved for Indian projects.
