Gautam Solar has announced that it has been recognised as a Top Performer in the 2026 Kiwa PVEL PV Module Reliability Scorecard — the 12th edition of the global solar industry's most trusted independent benchmark for photovoltaic module reliability. Gautam Solar achieved the Top Performer status for its N-Type TOPCon bifacial glass//glass G2G1785 module series, manufactured at its facility.
Each category carries strict, non-negotiable criteria covering structural durability, moisture resistance, electrical integrity, and real-world energy yield performance — the metrics that ultimately determine project returns across a 25 to 30-year asset life. For developers, lenders, and investors, this recognition is independent, data-driven assurance that Gautam Solar's modules are built to perform across the full operational life of every project they power, stated the company.
The recognition reflects Gautam Solar’s sustained investment in advanced module technology and manufacturing excellence, including the adoption of N-Type TOPCon cell technology with inherent LID resistance and a temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C.
The company also employs patented AI-assisted EL testing at both pre- and post-lamination stages to ensure defect-free production, along with more than 30 in-line automated quality checks across its fully integrated manufacturing lines. Further strengthening its quality assurance framework, Gautam Solar operates an in-house Reliability Testing Laboratory for continuous accelerated lifetime validation. Its manufacturing and products are backed by key certifications and approvals, including ALMM (MNRE), BIS, IEC 61215 & 61730, UL, CE, and CEC.
Gautam Mohanka, Director, Gautam Solar, said, “Receiving Top Performer recognition from Kiwa PVEL is a proud milestone for Gautam Solar. This globally recognised, independently verified achievement confirms that our N-Type TOPCon modules meet the industry’s highest standards for quality, reliability, and long-term performance. Backed by 29+ years of solar manufacturing excellence built on trust, innovation, and performance, this recognition reinforces the confidence that developers, investors, EPCs, and partners place in Gautam Solar.”
Kiwa PVEL, Independent PV Module Reliability Testing Laboratory, remarked, “We congratulate Gautam Solar on achieving Top Performer status in the 2026 Kiwa PVEL PV Module Reliability Scorecard. Earning Top Performer recognition is a significant achievement that reflects genuine manufacturing discipline and a serious commitment to long-term module quality. The Scorecard exists to give developers, investors, and procurement teams the independent, data-driven confidence they need to make better sourcing decisions.”
For international developers and EPC contractors, the Kiwa PVEL Scorecard is a primary module qualification standard across Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Top Performer status strengthens Gautam Solar's export credibility and opens procurement conversations with global buyers who require this validation as a minimum bar, stated the company.
It further added that for institutional investors and lenders, top-quartile energy yield directly supports project bankability and long-term revenue modelling. For utility-scale developers, these test results reduce technical risk in insurance underwriting and O&M performance projections across the full project lifecycle, asserted the company.
