Gautam Solar, a solar module manufacturing company, has secured 4th position in the recent report by JMK Research and Analytics for Q4 2025.

According to the data, the total modules shipped during the quarter were 14 GW, with the top five makers accounting for more than 52 percent of this capacity. Gautam Solar's inclusion among the top four producers indicates the rising role played by it in India's solar manufacturing sector, which is in line with the Government’s vision of ‘Make in India’, and also towards the achievement of 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030.

The reports further revealed that domestic manufacturers accounted for 96 percent of total shipments, while international and Chinese competitors accounted for four percent. This Indian industry dominance also highlights the integral role of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) regulation and the Government of India's policy thrust towards self-reliance in renewable energy manufacturing.

The firm's achievement of this milestone has been fueled by its pursuit of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, capacity building for production and customer-driven innovations. Its distribution network and quality-assurance focus have also reinforced its potential to serve India's rapidly expanding solar demand.

Speaking on this accomplishment, Gautam Mohanka, Director, Gautam Solar, stated, "Ranking 4th among Indian Solar Manufacturers is an important milestone for Gautam Solar. It is a reflection of our focus on high-quality manufacturing, R&D and helping India achieve its clean energy aspirations and net-zero goal. With the ongoing government thrust on domestic capacity building, we are confident that Gautam Solar will enhance its market position further and play a meaningful role in India's solar revolution."
