Gautam Solar has received the globally recognised SA8000:2014 certification, reinforcing its commitment to ethical business practices, social accountability and responsible workplace standards across its operations.

The certification confirms that the company's management system complies with the requirements of the SA8000:2014 International Standard, which assesses organisations on labour rights, workplace conditions and responsible management practices.

According to the company, the certification covers its manufacturing and supply chain operations for solar photovoltaic modules and related components. The scope includes quality testing and inspection, procurement and supplier management, warehousing, logistics, human resources and administrative functions.

SA8000 is an internationally recognised social certification standard designed to encourage organisations to adopt ethical workplace practices, safeguard employee welfare and maintain responsible operational systems. The certification is regarded as a benchmark for companies seeking to align their operations with internationally accepted standards of social responsibility.

Commenting on the achievement, Gautam Mohanka, Managing Director of Gautam Solar, said that the company's sustainability vision extends beyond clean energy products to the way it manages its workforce and business operations.

"Our sustainability approach is not just limited to creating our energy solutions; it is also reflected in the way we operate and build our organisation. Receiving the SA8000:2014 certification is a huge honour for us, as it recognises our efforts in creating a responsible workplace built through ethical practices and respect for all stakeholders," Mohanka said.

The company said that the certification strengthens its efforts to build a sustainable, people-centric organisation while aligning its operational processes with global best practices. It added that the milestone reflects its focus on combining manufacturing excellence with internationally recognised standards of social responsibility as demand for domestically manufactured solar equipment continues to grow.
