Gamesa secures 60 MW wind power project from ReNewPower in India

Order entails delivery of 30 numbers of G97-2.0MW T104 model turbines at Batkurke, Karnataka

Gamesa has announced that it has received an order of 60 MW from ReNewPower, under a turnkey arrangement.

As per the agreement signed, Gamesa willsupply30 units of G97-2.0MW T104 turbine, which is scheduled to be commissioned by March 2017.Being a turnkey project, Gamesa will handle the entire infrastructure needed to install and operate the facility. This order forms part of the 460 MW consolidated orders announced for India vide our global press release.

Commenting on the deal, Mr. Ramesh Kymal, Chairman and Managing Director- Gamesa India said, “Repeat orders are a testament to the kind of service and technology expertise we bring to the table.
