GameChange Solar to Supply Trackers for 1,290 MWp Bisha Solar Project in Saudi Arabia

GameChange Solar has secured an order to supply its Genius Tracker™ 1P system for the 1,290 MWp Bisha Solar PV Independent Power Plant in Saudi Arabia. The project is being developed by ACWA Power, with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) appointed as the EPC contractor.

The Bisha project forms part of Saudi Arabia’s expanding renewable energy portfolio under the Public Investment Fund (PIF) programme, which emphasizes large-scale solar deployment and accelerated project execution. GameChange Solar said that its regional manufacturing capacity of 6 GW annually in Saudi Arabia will support timely delivery and local supply requirements.

Located in the Asir Province, the project will deploy GameChange Solar’s Genius Tracker™ 1P platform equipped with SmartStow™, PowerBoost™ and WeatherSmart™ technologies. These features are designed to enhance performance and resilience in extreme desert conditions marked by high winds, shifting wind directions and elevated temperatures.
