GameChange Energy’s division GameChange BOS has opened its high-capacity medium voltage transformer manufacturing facility in Taloja, Maharashtra. The factory, spread across 180,000 sq. ft., is capable of producing over 1,800 transformers annually, expanding the company’s ability to serve key markets in India, Europe, and the United States.
This strategic expansion enables GameChange BOS to scale its product offerings across the 0.5-25 MVA range, with voltage ratings up to 69 kV, catering to high-growth segments such as AI-driven data centres, renewable energy projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and large-scale electrification infrastructure.
“We are revolutionising the experience of the customer in the transformer sector with fast delivery, great service, and unparalleled value pricing. Our new factory enables us to address urgent market needs and positions us as a significant player in the global electrification movement,” said Andrew Worden, CEO, GameChange BOS.
Aligned with the Government of India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, the facility boosts domestic manufacturing capabilities, reduces dependency on imports, and strengthens India’s role as a competitive exporter of advanced transformer solutions. The facility is equipped with advanced manufacturing technology, quality testing, and streamlined production processes, ensuring products meet the highest international standards.
India’s power demand is projected to nearly triple by 2035, driven by industrial expansion, rise of electrification of transport, data centers and urban consumption. GameChange BOS is committed to investing in the technology and capacity needed to meet these emerging infrastructure demands.
