GAIL India Ltd has announced that it has released a tender for commissioning of solar PV power systems at seven sites of the Maharashtra region pipeline.
The brief scope of work for selected bidders will include the supply, installation, and commissioning of the solar power systems at the seven locations. The developers will have a period of 1 year from the date of issue of the letter of award to complete the work on the project.
The last date of bid submission is April 2, 2019, and the bids will be opened on the same date. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for March 19, 2019, to address the apprehensions raised by all the potential bidders. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1.38 along with their bids.
To be entitled, the bidder must have executed at least one work order of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of either “Rooftop Grid-Connected Solar Power System (on-grid)” or “Solar Power System with Battery Storage System (off-grid)” or “Standalone Solar Power System (off-grid/on-grid)” of capacity not less than 10 kWp in the previous seven years.
Additionally, the bidder must have accomplished a minimum annual turnover of Rs 34.55 lakhs in any of the last three financial years. The net worth of the bidder must be positive as per the last audited financial results and the working capital of the bidder shall not be less than Rs 6.91 lakhs.
