GAIL Issues Tender for O&M of Solar Plant worth 5 MW in Jaisalmer

GAIL has announced that it has released a tender, pursuing bids from eligible parties for providing the operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the company’s 5 MW solar plant in Ramgarh Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

The firm is inviting bids from eligible service providers who will provide the O&M services under an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for a period of three years.

The last date for bid submission is July 26, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for July 15, 2019, to address the concerns raised by prospective bidders. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 4.59 lakhs as bid security along with their bids.

To be qualified, the bidder should have successfully executed/completed at least one single work order for the O&M of minimum 2.5 MW or above the solar plant in the preceding 7 years as on the due date for the bid submission.

Moreover, the bidder should have an annual turnover not less than Rs 38.22 lakhs in any one of the last three financial years. And also have maintained a positive net worth in the same period. The working capital as per the last audited financial results of the bidder should be a minimum of Rs 7.67 lakhs.
