GAIL Invites Bids for 17.5 MW (AC) Floating Solar Project in Uttar Pradesh
GAIL (India) Ltd. has issued a tender for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a grid-connected 17.5 MW floating solar PV plant at its facility in Pata, Uttar Pradesh. Bid submission ends on May 20, 2025.

GAIL (India) Ltd. has floated a tender for setting up a 17.5 MW (AC) floating solar plant at its facility in Pata in the Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of the project includes EPC works for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a grid-connected 17.5 MW floating solar PV plant along with the power evacuation system at the final evacuation point.
The bidders must provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of the floating solar PV plant for three years. They must also provide a comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) of critical equipment for a period of 10 years.
Bidders need to furnish INR 77.52 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is May 20, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on May 21, 2025.
The bidder must have completed a job for supply, erection/installation, testing and commissioning of grid-connected floating or ground-mounted solar PV power plant(s) on LSTK/EPC basis in India in the previous 7 years prior to the bid due date. The minimum capacity of the plant must be 14 MW (AC) for one completed work. The minimum capacity of each plant must be 8.75 (AC) MW for two completed works and 7 MW (AC) for three completed works.
The minimum average annual turnover of the bidder during the three immediate preceding financial years must be INR 43.10 crore. The net worth of the bidder should be positive as per the last audited financial year. The minimum working capital of the bidder as per the last audited financial year must be INR 8.60 crore.
