Fourth Partner Energy (FPEL) has announced that the company will be supplying 15 MW of wind-solar hybrid power to a facility of Max Cement (Green Valliey Industries) in Meghalaya.

“By leveraging our Kudligi ISTS Park, we are able to bypass regional resource limitations and deliver high-yield, high-efficiency renewable energy from Karnataka to the facility of Max Cement (Green Valliey Industries) in Meghalaya,” the company stated.

It further added that this strategic connectivity not only ensures a more reliable power flow but also offers significant cost advantages through the waiver of inter-state transmission charges, proving that geographical distance is no longer a barrier to achieving deep decarbonisation.

“The cement industry remains one of the most energy-intensive sectors globally, and meeting its massive electrical demands requires more than just standard green solutions; it requires the scale and flexibility of an Inter-State Transmission System framework,” stated FPEL.
