Fourth Partner Energy Partners with Manohar Filaments to Support Cleaner Power Transition

Fourth Partner Energy has partnered with Manohar Filaments, a vertically integrated manufacturer of textile trims, labels, packaging and branding solutions, to support the company’s transition towards cleaner power and more sustainable manufacturing operations.

The partnership is aimed at helping Manohar Filaments, an energy intensive manufacturing company, advance its clean energy adoption while strengthening sustainability across its operations and value chain. Fourth Partner Energy described the collaboration as part of efforts to help industrial customers reduce their dependence on conventional power and move towards more responsible and future ready operations. 

Under the partnership, Fourth Partner Energy’s 75 MWp Sirsa solar park is supplying 5.5 million units of electricity annually to Manohar Filaments’ facility in Haryana, supporting the company’s shift towards cleaner power.

Manohar Filaments has maintained a focus on sustainability across its manufacturing and product portfolio. The company says its facilities are being equipped with solar power and rainwater harvesting systems, while its manufacturing processes have been re engineered to reduce waste and water consumption. It has also promoted recycled, recyclable and organic materials across its textile and paper products.

The company manufactures a wide range of textile and paper based products, including woven and printed labels, hangtags, heat transfers, embroidery patches, tapes, elastics, belts, drawcords and packaging products. Its vertically integrated operations include in house yarn dyeing, textile manufacturing, printing and packaging capabilities.

Manohar Filaments has also developed sustainable product offerings under its Ecolutionary range and holds certifications including the Global Recycled Standard and Global Organic Textile Standard, alongside FSC certification for relevant products.

The latest partnership adds a clean energy dimension to the company’s broader sustainability initiatives and comes as manufacturers increasingly look to renewable power to lower the environmental impact of energy intensive operations.
