Flora Haixia Zhao joins Sterlite Power as an Independent Director

Sterlite Power has announced the appointment of Ms Flora Haixia Zhao as an independent director of the company. Ms Zhao is a respected leader in the global energy sector, and has held leadership positions in companies such as BP and AES. She will advise the Board and leadership team on matters related to strategy and global expansion.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Pratik Agarwal, Group CEO, Sterlite Power, said, “We are delighted to have someone of Ms Flora Zhao’s calibre and experience join our Board. Ms Zhao holds Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from Zhejiang University, China and MS from University of Maryland, USA.
