The model project consists of the development of 1 MW Solar PV and 2 MW diesel generator set integrated with a Smart Micro Grid. It is being implemented in partnership with New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Government of Japan wherein the solar panels and equipment have been procured from top Japanese companies like Hitachi and kyoscera.

The project was kick-started by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among NEDO, Japan; Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance; Ministry of New and Renewable Energy

This project is demonstrating large-scale use of solar power and smart micro grid technology and promote its replication in other industrial areas, which will help in reducing the carbon footprint by combining solar power with diesel generator besides promoting manufacture of solar panels and other equipment facilities.

Firstgreen Consulting worked as the EPC contractor for this project and completed this project . A record time of three months
