Evren Signs 750 MW Renewable Energy PPA with NTPC, Expands Clean Energy Portfolio

Evren has signed a 750 MW renewable energy PPA with NTPC for solar, wind and battery storage projects across Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, reinforcing its 11 GW pipeline and clean energy expansion.

Evren has signed a 750 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC for a portfolio comprising solar, wind and battery energy storage projects in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. The agreement is among the largest renewable energy projects secured by capacity in India and marks a major milestone in the company's growth.

The project is expected to generate approximately 2.5 billion units of clean electricity annually once operational. It is also projected to reduce around 1.8 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year, contributing significantly to India's clean energy transition.

The latest agreement strengthens Evren's renewable energy portfolio, which now stands at an 11 GW development pipeline. More than 3.5 GW of this capacity is currently under construction across solar, wind and battery energy storage projects.

Commenting on the development, Suman Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Evren, said that the 750 MW PPA reflects the company's execution capabilities and the scale it has achieved over time. He added that with an 11 GW pipeline and over 3.5 GW under construction, Evren is well positioned to deliver reliable and sustainable power at scale while serving as a long term partner for customers.

The agreement highlights Evren's continued expansion in India's renewable energy sector through integrated utility scale generation and energy storage projects designed to provide dependable clean power.
