EV Manufacturer EKA Mobility Grasp Order of 310 E-Buses from CESL

EKA Mobility has earned a Letter of Allotment (LoA) for the procurement, operation, and maintenance of 310 electric buses on Gross Cost Contracting (GCC), from Convergence Energy Services, as part of its latest culminated tender for 6,465 e-buses.

Pune-based EKA Mobility, an electric vehicles & technology company, and a subordinate of Pinnacle Industries Limited.

EKA Mobility has earned a Letter of Allotment (LoA) for the procurement, operation, and maintenance of 310 electric buses on Gross Cost Contracting (GCC), from Convergence Energy Services Limited, as part of its latest culminated tender for 6,465 e-buses.

Electric buses will be utilized for intra-city operations in the state of Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, and Kerala.

Under the National e-Bus program Phase 1, the State Road Transport Corporation lineup is anticipated to cut down CO2 emissions by around 1,40,000 tonnes over 12 years.

With the placement of this order, the company booking has grown massively, including above 500 electric buses and more than 5,000 electric light commercial vehicle orders.

Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder & Chairman of EKA by Pinnacle Mobility Solutions, added, “This order is a testament to the fact that design and making in India is now a reality and is a viable alternative that can replace the Chinese products that are coming into the market.”
