Envision’s 194.7 MW Babra Wind Farm Wins CII Performance Excellence Award 2025
Envision Energy India’s Wind Farm located at Babra, Amreli, Gujarat has been awarded the CII Performance Excellence Award 2025 for Leadership in Performance under the Wind Energy category.

The Wind Energy Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) hailed the recognition, stating that it underscores the company's commitment to “operational excellence and building sustainable energy solutions in India.”
The Leadership in Performance Award was based on evaluation by the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) four-member judges’ panel, representing eminent leaders from India’s Wind Energy Sector.
The 194.7 MW Babra Wind Farm, operated by Cleanmax, was presented the award at the CII event.
The company highlighted some best practices that led to the Farm’s operations success, including installation of Individual Pitch Control (IPC) Sensor on the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) main frame that helps reduce fatigue loads on the rotor blades, the hub, mainframe and tower structures during operation; use of Conditioned Monitoring System (CMS) for major components like gearbox, main bearing and generator that help save huge generation loss of customer besides annual proactive blade inspection to check blade healthiness; and proactive repair before high wind season.
RPV Prasad, MD, Envision Energy India, expressed his gratitude stating, “We are overjoyed by being recognized for our performance year-on-year by CII, this demonstrates our significance as a leading Indian player.”
“This achievement emphasizes our dedication and expertise of our teams in the upkeep of performance at our varied sites,” he added.
With an investment of INR 500 crore, Envision has established India as a strategic hub in the renewable energy sector.
The company has established a 3 GW p.a. manufacturing capacity for Nacelle and Hub in Pune, as well as Blades in Trichy.
Additionally, it is in the process of setting up its third plant, with locations under review and the plant expected to be commissioned shortly.
