Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd. (EIEL) has announced the acquisition of a 100 percent equity stake in Sunaxis Renewables Pvt. Ltd. from its wholly owned subsidiary, EIE Renewables Pvt. Ltd.
The firm stated in its filing that following the acquisition, Sunaxis Renewables will become a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of EIEL. The company was incorporated on April 21, 2025, with an authorised and paid-up capital of INR 1,00,000, comprising 10,000 equity shares of INR 10 each. The transaction is expected to be completed on or before June 30, 2025, through a cash payment.
Sunaxis Renewables has been established as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the development of ground-mounted and floating solar power projects across India. The entity will manage the entire project lifecycle, including conceptualisation, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and operations and maintenance. It will operate in alignment with the guidelines set by state and central government authorities.
The acquisition marks a strategic move by EIEL to expand its footprint in the renewable energy sector. It is expected to enhance the company’s capabilities in solar infrastructure development and aligns with its long-term goal of building a sustainable, future-ready business portfolio.
